Are Taylor Swift tickets really worth the hassle? Taylor used to sell her tickets online until bots would steal them and sell them on their own websites. If you want tickets to the Eras Tour you now have to get a special code and can not buy tickets until a certain time. This could also result in expensive or cheap pricing and cause a fuss between fans.
Taylor’s fans are now having to sign up for Ticketmaster. Hartselle High School English teacher Mrs. Gourgeot said, “Ticketmaster is a bit of a monopoly for huge events like this at the moment, and until that is remedied, it will be hard to get the process exactly right in my opinion.” Whenever an Eras Tour location is announced, people who have signed up to Ticketmaster are sent a code. They then have to join a website at only a certain time and type in the code. Even though it could be considered a “secure website,” bots could still get in and be able to get tickets before Taylor’s fans can.
While many of Taylor's fans signed up for Ticketmaster, if too many people are on the website it could crash and leave even more Taylor fans disappointed. On the positive side, if only an average number of people get tickets, it would be less of a fuss at the concert. This would result in shorter lines, more room for seats and getting in and out of the concert would be way easier. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has made many positive impacts over the U.S, and overall, most Taylor fans would say the hassle is well worth going to the concert.
