Band Spotlight

Football season has begun, and that means marching band season has too. Mr. Key and the Hartselle High School marching band have been hard at work preparing to bring the Hartselle Tiger Football audience your halftime entertainment. After having music camp and band camp this summer, the band has an amazing halftime show prepared this year. The band is performing selections from their R&B and Soul music show. Some songs include Everybody’s Everything, Nothing from Nothing, Will it go Round in Circles, Brickhouse, and many more! The band is also preparing for their stand tunes. Stand tunes help keep the football team and the crowd hyped up and ready for a Hartselle victory! This year the band is the second largest it's ever been in Hartselle High School history at around 130 students marching with the band! That opens up many new opportunities for success for the band. The color guard and majorettes have prepared a wonderful routine for this year as well. Mr. Key has been directing the Hartselle High School Band for many years and stated that “the Hartselle Band looks very promising this year.” Football games are already very exciting, but the band adds to the Friday night experience!
